Highway Capacity Software Version 7.1

HCS7™ (Release 7.9) is available.

This release of the Highway Capacity Software (HCS7) includes updated modules to implement animation and simulation using Transmodeler SE microsimulation tool for TWSC and AWSC intersections as well as freeways. A complimentary copy of Transmoder SE is available with each copy of HCS7.9 software.

Version 7.9 Release Details:

STREETS

  • Improves the signals multiple-period text report and export to CSV file functionality
  • Corrects a display issue for queue storage ratio with zero storage
  • Includes other minor fixes and improvements

FREEWAYS

  • Adds simulation and animation support for TransModeler traffic simulation software
  • Adds TTI on facility graph
  • Updates upper range of segment length and accel/decel lane length for Merge/Diverge segments
  • Allows users to code access demand between ML lanes and GP lanes
  • Adds ramp types on formatted reports
  • Includes other minor bug fixes and improvements

TWSC

  • Adds simulation and animation support for TransModeler traffic simulation software
  • Corrects shared capacity for minor street approaches
